This is what domestic terrorism looks like and law enforcement who are suppose to protect and serve spearheading, colluding and protecting their foot soldiers or so called "lone wolves" committing these unlawful acts.

Renegade Michigan sheriffs are saying they won't enforce a ban on guns in polling stations, even after the feds busted an armed militia plot to kidnap the state's Democratic governor.

Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson issued a directive last week banning open carry at the polls on Nov. 3 amid growing concerns about armed voter intimidation and in response to a foiled militia plot to kidnap Gov. Gretchen Whitmer over COVID-19 lockdown restrictions.

But within days of Benson’s directive, gun rights groups and some right-wing sheriffs said it was unnecessary and that they would ensure safety at the polls in their own way. To them, the freedom to openly carry a firearm while voting holds symbolic, historical significance. To others, the presence of guns at polling stations are an uneasy and unnecessary addition that has the potential to thwart the democratic process.

County Sheriffs probably don't want to get federal heat on them.

Don’t sheriffs swear to uphold the Constitution? That would mean allowing people to bear arms. And the way you assholes have been acting it’s wise to be armed.
I think the switch is the morons who take the law into their own hands are what you meant.

And don't think many agencies will do their job. Including the Feds. We don't treat law breakers very well.

Maybe Michigan should get social workers to enforce a ban?

This is what Americanism looks like.

If you don't like it, you can always bow out. We have no use for anti-Americans.

If the RWNJs packing heat at the polls are lucky, they'll finally get to kill somebody.

We'll see how the renegade sheriffs react to that.

Protect and serve, yeah, right.

Poor little commie, back to civics class for you. Tell the class when the State legislature gave the SOS the authority to circumvent actual laws. As far as I know, the State SOS is not in a States legislative chain.

Fake News. Domestic Terrorism would be if the Dems Domestic Terrorists of BLM/Antifa show up, but, it sounds like the Sheriffs and the locals have security well in hand.

Have you retracted your false charges against the FL police officer you falsely accused of "breaking the law" and "going rogue"?

Michigan HATES their democrat Governor............and are realizing that she is abusing her position and power to try to harm Michigan for political purposes. She lacks the authority to issue lawless decrees and she has already been told so by a judge but yet she does again trying to ban weapons----likely because the dems are rallying their brown shirts to attack on Election day so she doesn't want the populace able to defend itself. Evil BWITCH.

Ok. Help me out Mike. Cops not arresting protesters is criminal because they are not enforcing the law and thus encourage lawlessness. That is bad. Cops not enforcing laws in Michigan? That is good and constitutional. Right?

Well. I'm of the notion that it's pretty good practice to allow usurpers to get just comfortable enough to think they have you cornered but only long enough to position yourself to appreciate the shock on their faces when they see and realize just how wrong they were about that. Sadistic, perhaps, but necessary. The problem with usurpers is that they aren't afraid. They foolishly believe that they have no reason to be. They thrive on the foolish notion that they will always have a government gun to back them up. Sometimes they need to be reminded of reality.

A sheriff's job is to make sure the people in his county are not deprived of their Constitutional rights. That's why the law is written to make the sheriff the head honcho. Not the Feds or the State but the sheriff. Are you pissed off because a sheriff applies the law in his county or his authority to do so?
