Few people outside the U.S. have any real knowledge of American Civics. They can't imagine why we don't have socialized medicine, or why so many people have guns. They read about a school shooting and can't imagine how we tolerate an atrocity that has about a one-in-150,000 chance of happening at any neighborhood school.

They see American Leftism as rather mild compared to what goes on in other "civilized" countries, and cannot understand why we fight it.

That's their ignorance, not to be worried about.

Except there is no leftist movement in the US. Both political parties are right wing parties indistinguishable from each other on all major issues. The corporate media is state controlled. Academia and Hollywood are too.

Dumb Americans haven’t figured out this is NOT a war between left and right or between Ds and Rs. It’s a class war and the ultra rich are winning easily.
