He won the popular vote by 1.5%, hardly a landslide. So far, I consider his EOs and lack of regard for laws and traditions as dictatorial. We'll see if he can actually govern and get legislation passed or will he be a flash-in-the-pan.

Few people outside the U.S. have any real knowledge of American Civics. They can't imagine why we don't have socialized medicine, or why so many people have guns. They read about a school shooting and can't imagine how we tolerate an atrocity that has about a one-in-150,000 chance of happening at any neighborhood school.

They see American Leftism as rather mild compared to what goes on in other "civilized" countries, and cannot understand why we fight it.
