Remember the GOP screaming "Class Warfare"?

Remember when we brought up income inequality and Republicans on the USMB and across the country laughed and said things like "Jealous much" and "stop being a crybaby" and "get out and work"?

And now, the VERY SAME REPUBLICANS are complaining that it's because of Obama that income inequality has grown. Does anyone believe the GOP is against income inequality? Will this be a serious and believable campaign issue for them?

The GOP obviously made a collective decision to try to co-opt the income inequality issue, clearly because they realize Americans care about it.
The "Collective" is making a "collective decision"?

Have you noticed that the leftist whiners on the board never talk about their own (Democrats') policies, mistakes, lies, diversions, crimes etc.?

All they seem to do here is whine about Republicans.

Right now it's about 150 to 1 in disastrous fiascoes, debacles and disasters. When it gets a little more even, we will spend some time on Democrats.

The real question should be why hasn't Dems done somthing other than crow about how well wall street is doing, unless its an opportunity to bash the right, can one be any more of a hypocrit?

Hope you don't think this makes you look witty and intelligent.

And they STILL whine only about Republicans. :rolleyes-41:
Republicans are so desparete to have a Democratic scandal, they make up Fast and Furious, Benghazi and the credit downgrade which was their fault to begin with. You know, there are Republicans who believe it was Obama was slow to act after Katrina.

This from the right wing Christian Science Monitor:

It turns out there's also a strong correlation between belief in conspiracy theories, lower levels of education, and higher levels of cynicism with the world and politics.

Remember back when the Left used to claim that "Income Inequality" was something Americans caused?

ROFLMNAO!

Well, as one should reasonably expect: THAT was nonsense.

It turns out that the more influence the Left has on government policy, the greater the across the board disparity of Income.

LOL! Go figure, right?

You're asking the wrong question. You need to ask yourself if, indeed, "income inequality" HAS grown under the Obama administration or not. You're a Progressive and Obama is a Progressive. You claim that deadbeats should get paid the same as producers. Obama claims to agree with you. So ... why is it that poverty as increased under a "Progressive" hero like Obama? And why would you continue to defend your Progressive demigod when he doesn't actually answer your liberal prayers?

"Despite years of railing about income inequality, the poor are no better off today than they were when President Obama took office in 2008.

About 50 million Americans live below the poverty line and a record 47 million of them — 13 million more than when the president assumed office — receive food stamps, The Washington Times reports. The federal government defines the poverty line as a family of four earning $23,550."

Liberals cry about income inequality more then any other issue....
And they never give Obama any shit about it....
Why is that?

If our current rate of inequality has anything to do with Obama it's because he refused to kick their asses after the 2008 crash, he missed a golden opportunity send a message that there are consequences to using the economy like a casino.

Yeah, he really did. I mean in 2008 he had a fully Marxist Legislature ready to rubber stamp whatever mind-numbingly anti-American crap he could come up with... AND by the same token, the Commie Legislature had a Rubber Stamp to sign whatever idiocy they could produce.

Proof of that is, of course, found in the obamaScare boondoggle, which became law without so much as a single vote from a single Republican.

You still can not comprehend the feds under obama pumping in a trillion dollars of monopoly money into wallstreet can you, a six grader can figure out that math

The fact of the matter is the income equality DOES exist. For example:

If a productive Conservative gets a job driving a gasoline tanker truck from Dallas to Houston he'll likely get paid around $21.00 per hour.
If a deadbeat Liberal gets a job driving a gasoline tanker truck from Dallas to Houston he'll likely get paid around $21.00 per hour.

If a productive Conservative can only find a job flipping burgers at Jack-in-the-Box he'll likely get paid minimum wage.
If a deadbeat Liberal drags himself into a job flipping burgers at Jack-in-the-Box he'll likely get paid minimum wage.

If a productive Conservative invents a new, improved Smart Phone he'll likely become a millionaire.
If a deadbeat Liberal invents a new, improved Smart Phone he'll likely become a millionaire.

There's your income equality neatly packaged with a bow.

Why is that?
Well, how bout it Republicans?

Ready to put up or shut up with meaningful legislation to help working Americans?
You know, something that doesn't start with massive tax cuts for the wealthy

LOL! So... what would, in your 'feelings', such legislation look like?

At this point in such threads, we usually hear the cry for "LAW" which gives everyone 'A Million Dollars'.

Of course, being idiots, you people lack the intellectual means to recognize that within an hour of passage, a loaf of bread would cost a $10,000... .

Now all that means scamp is that the only means... thus the only meaningful way that law can 'help working Americans', is for the law to scrap that which is harming Americans, which is cutting taxes, regulations, bureaucratic entanglements and the usual manifestations of the Ideological Left.

Glad you asked

Start with a meaningful raise in minimum wage and tie increases to the cost of living
Make all medical and education expenses tax free for those making under 200k
Free secondary education for first two years
Increase Obamacare subsidies
Catastrophic medical coverage at 10k per year

That is a start
