Chuckle, chuckle.
In a last minute, desperate effort to win Ohio, where Romney was trailing the entire time, Romney put out this wild "Jeep Ad" in late October of 2012:
Here a screenshot of the big moment in that ad:
That Jeep plant is in Toledo, Ohio.
Chrysler even came out and called Romney a liar over this:
Chrysler, GM Rebuke Mitt Romney Jeep Ad
Flash forward 16 months in time:
So, how's that Jeep plant in Toledo, Ohio doing today?
Well, it's hiring more workers!!!
Jeep will hire up to 1,000 for part-time work - Toledo Blade
Damn that communist kenyan Obama for causing Chrysler to have to hire more workers, thus pumping more money into the Ohio economy!! Damn him, damn him, damn him!!

Yet another Mitt Romney lie exposed, even 16 months after he crashed and burned in 2012. A Republicans wonder why they lost...

We've clearly entered some parallel universe during these last few days, GM spokesman Greg Martin said. No amount of campaign politics at its cynical worst will diminish our record of creating jobs in the U.S. and repatriating profits back to this country.
The day before, meanwhile, Chrysler Group LLC CEO Sergio Marchionne penned a letter to the Detroit News insisting that there was no validity to the idea that the company was shipping Jeep production overseas. Instead, he noted, the company was looking to open new factories in China to meet increasing demand there.

Chrysler Group LLC plans to hire up to 1,000 part-time employees for the Toledo Assembly complex to keep production rolling while giving regular employees the chance for a break.
Our people have been working a tremendous amount of hours, Plant Manager Chuck Padden said. To get them more time off is important to us, to make sure theyre refreshed, and can work safely.
With record demand for the Jeep Wrangler and the launch of the new Jeep Cherokee last year, employees are regularly working 60 hours a week. And while employees generally like the extra pay that results from working overtime, such lengthy stretches can wear on workers, he said.
A company spokesman said Monday that Chrysler has hired 380 temporary part-time employees this year, though 50 have been converted to regular, full-time employees.
