The creation account describes the creation of the universe and then everything unfolding sequentially in a logical fashion over time.Again, where did the first chimpanzee come from?
Don’t read it like an idiot. God gave you a brain. Use it.

I’m guessing longer than 6,000 years. Creationists aren’t accounting for the time Adam and Eve were in the Garden. Could be a few years. A few thousand years. Maybe a few billion years. See, God is outside of time. So we’re Adam and Eve. Now, the problem with this is “no death” limited to Adam and Eve? For animals and creepy crawly things? Does it include creatures of the sea? The video said land creatures and mankind. I’ll have to do more digging on this. I’m going to say man and animals. How old do you believe the earth is and why?

Keep reading because it does describe events unfolding sequentially over time. The Bible does describe the creation account. (Gen. 1:1) "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." No evolution there.
(Heb. 11:3) "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear."
God spake the universe into existence out of nothing. No evolution here.

6 days is over time. As in it evolved over time… sequentially. What unfolded next was the destruction and judgement upon the earth in (Gen. 1:2)
The 6 days of recreation would then follow. But, neither is that any evolution. Only by the spoken Word of God. "And God said"

Not really interested in arguing about this with you.
It didn’t happen that way. That was an allegorical description of God creating the universe and the universe evolving in a logical sequence over time.No. Just because God recreated the heaven and earth in 6 days, one day after the other, doesn't make it evolution. "And God said" No evolution. Creation by the spoken Word of God.
That's fine.

Are you going to answer my question?
Try again. Why do you prefer the lazy authoritarian argument instead of doing real science?I'm not sure what question you're referring to but why should I answer any of your questions when you don't answer mine?
According to who? There’s plenty of evidence you are wrong. But your cognitive dissonance doesn’t allow you to study the evidence. What you read from one side becomes truth to you. You are no scientist. The earth is -4 billion years old.

Cognitive Dissonance, normalcy bias or whatever really stops some people from belief in God. They need empirical proof. Like Thomas did. It's not an allegory because you say so. The only reason you determine that there is allegory used in the Bible, is that it disagrees with your logic. Which means you are just writing your own Bible.
How silly.
It did happen that way, and I showed you in Scripture. You offer nothing in Scripture to disprove it. why? Because Scripture doesn't prove anything to you. Only your logic based upon your science.
With you, your logic and science trumps the Bible.
Total bs. And I thought you said you didn't want to argue the point. Yet here you are again, arguing the point. Lying again.

It's pretty obvious it's allegory. Deal with it.It's not an allegory because you say so. The only reason you determine that there is allegory used in the Bible, is that it disagrees with your logic. Which means you are just writing your own Bible.

I believe in God. I just don't read the creation account like an unthinking imbecile.Cognitive Dissonance, normalcy bias or whatever really stops some people from belief in God. They need empirical proof. Like Thomas did.
