Release of POW's - why not trade them for our politicians?

I just read in the other thread here that McCain was calling the 5 Islamists that it took to secure the release of one American few days ago, that they were biggest murderers... Why don't our politicians be heroes enough to exchange themselves for the "brave American soldiers" when they are captured? I know I am known as the anti military, but if I had the power, I definitely WOULD exchange myself for an American if that would result in the release of the American soldier, because I know I would have things to say to these murderers that I believe would make them reconsider about killing me, but being such type of a person, I am being labeled as a sissy terrorist sympathizer, but what now about your brave hearts such as McCain?

Anyway, Americans deserve everything they achieved and everything they have coming. I am giving up.
