Reid's Approval Numbers Lower Then Cheney's

Responding to VP Dick Cheney's comment on the Dems surrender bill, Harry Reid sneered:

"I'm not going to get into a name-calling match with someone who has a 9 percent approval rating," he said of Cheney.

Not so fast Harry. The WSJ poll has VP Cheney's approval rating at 25% and Harry Reid at 22%

Not so fast Harry. The WSJ poll has VP Cheney's approval rating at 25% and Harry Reid at 22%.

Harry Reid does not represent the 1,001 Americans who took part in the poll unlike Dick Cheney therefore you are comparing apples to oranges. The issue isn't whether Americans in general support Harry Reid but whether those that he represents support him since he is responsible for representing them and not those who are not from his state. This mean that the people of Nevada are the only ones who have any legitimate say in the approval rating of Harry Reid which means that every person not from Nevada who took part in the poll doesn't count towards Harry Reid's approval rating while every last one of them does count towards Dick Cheney's approval rating which in effect means that Harry Reid is doing the will of the people of Nevada, and the same goes for each member of Congress and when you add them all up you get the will of the American people. You truly get an image of what Americans want and not just those who vote in a poll.

He is doing the will of those who he represents, the same for Pelosi, Murphy, Feingold and others. Harry Reid does not represent you if you are not from Nevada nor does Nancy Pelosi if you are not from her Congressional district. This is a distinction that you cannot understand because you are mentally challenged. This means that when both house of Congress pass a bill that it is the will of the American people. Harry Reid was elected by the people of his state and in turn was elected Majority Leader of the majority in Congress. So in effect he is representing every member of Congress who when taken collectively have a higher approval rating than Bush does.

Congressional representatives represent their respective political parties. That "will of the people" crap went out with steel helmets. That you purposefully ignore this rather obvious fact is solely because it suits your partisan agenda to do so.
