Record heat in the US in January, 2015

You know its cold, when...

And in the meantime, back at the ranch;
There were 3,499 daily warm temperature records broken in January, compared to 775 cold ones, he said.

And how long ago were those warm records set?

Bustle

While February’s temperatures have been much colder than average, the rest of the winter months have not followed suit. In January, for example, the National Climatic Data Center (NCDC) reports that nearly 3,500 records were set for daily high temperatures. In fact, the period from December 2014 to January 2015 was so warm that it ranked as the sixth warmest in the U.S. since 1895. Globally, January 2015 ranked as the second warmest on record.

And although the month of February has felt particularly brutal, the NCDC reports that, across the board, it’s really not all that bad. While there have been 236 records for cold temperatures set so far in February, there have been 4,074 records set for warm temperatures. Granted, most of those warm temperature records have been recorded in cities out west such as Seattle, Las Vegas and Salt Lake City, it still serves to debunk claims about just how terrible this winter has been.

Now would you like me to get you what NOAA states about the weather last month, and this month for that matter.

Who cares. After all the times that you have lectured us that weather is not climate, surely you're not going to make the same assumption are you:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

The oceans — where over 90% of global warming heat ends up — have literally warmed up off the charts of NOAA.

The latest NASA temperature data make clear that not only has there been no “pause” in surface temperature warming in the past decade and a half, there hasn’t even been a significant change in trend.

What the real scientists are showing us.

:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh: How many excuses are there now for "the pause". Truly olfraud, you crack me up!

My, Walleyes, fell right into that, didn't you. Weather has causes, and there are the causes in that graph. The American Meteorological Society predicted exactly the kind of weather we are seeing in their lectures and meetings. That you constantly lie about this everybody on this board knows and understands.

2014 is the warmest year on record. Low TSI, ENSO neutral, and still the warmest. You can tell all the lies you like, the only people you impress are those that will not face reality.

Yes, yes, yes, we know. According to you if it's hot its GW. If it's cold it's GW, EVERYTHING is global warmings fault. But, anybody with an operable brain can tell you....when EVERYTHING is blamed on something, the facts are that NONE of it is true.

Sure it is. .01 C with error bars of .1 C. Care to tell us how they can measure that?

If the record data is fiddled with any more the earth will soon be hotter than the sun.
