Record breaking cold temperatures in Massachusetts today

Obviously, this is revenge for Donald Trump's "51st State" insult. Canada is doing t his on purpose.

Here in Pittsburgh, this is the worst November-December weather in at least four decades. It's not just that it's cold; it's that we have not had a break (a 50+ degree day) in almost a month. This is extremely unusual in Western PA, where we normally get our share of cold and snow, but almost always get the occasional warm day to melt the snow and give us a chance to get out without our snow boots on.

And as a bicyclist, it's miserable. I have to limit myself to the stationary bike and treadmills.

I`m 72 and at the Allegheny Valley YMCA a couple days a week. They have all of that stuff, but I stick to shooting basketball for an hour or so. Once in a while the ball actually goes in the basket.
