Our relations with the nations of Europe has never been ally to ally, it has been protector to protectorate.

Looking at Ukraine's history, the only nation to which it has been a strong ally was Germany in the early forties.

To underpin sanctions on Russia? Those idiots have learned nothing in the last three years. These sanctions damage European economy and industry, cutting it off from Russian markets, transit routes, abundance in energy etc. What they should do is to find a way of the current crisis and get back to 'do business as usual'.
