Raskin Threatens Countries Working With Trump, Says Dems Will Retaliate ‘When We Come Back To Power’

Nah, your sources are misleading you. While it may be true that some are a little anxious over the tariffs, I think much of that is being driven by news outlets that don’t want, or have a vested interest in Trump failing.

Trump is succeeding on the no.1 issue he was voted in by so many Americans for, and that is immigration. And he achieved a 95% reduction in illegal crossings in his first weeks, after Biden, and people like you said it couldn’t be done.

On the Economy, this will take some time to rectify the decades of destruction liberal policies have wrought on the country…This has to be done in phases…First, we have to bring trade back to a level playing ground, then we can ramp up manufacturing, drilling (already showing results), and finally pricing to re establish the American dream for many of our children, and grandchildren…

If you think his plans are wrong, then offer some ideas. Tell you representatives to work with the administration to forge a better future. Instead of the constant complaining, and gaslighting currently the Democrat platform. Otherwise we’ll continue to ignore you.
Trump is already ignoring experts in all fields

That is a lie without actual proof....So, where's your proof?

The Democratic Party has historically expanded rights while the republic one seeks to limit them such as abortion and voting.
True, democrats have expanded rights like shoplifting, vandalism, assault and human trafficking,.

“The crap” is what everyone voted for…

No, it isn’t.

They voted for the carnival barker and his talk radio tropes.

NOTHING about Trump is real. He has made himself into the embodiment of every resentful know nothing’s fantasy of what a strong man is.

The don’t care about facts, policy, the Constitution, or the rule of law.

Well, undermining our nation and the man elected to carry out/make policy. So very Marxist of Raskin, who is in fact very Red.

Insurrection indeed.

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) issued a stark warning to El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele and other foreign leaders, cautioning that Democrats will not “look kindly” on those who cooperate with President Donald Trump when they return to power.
In a recent episode of “Pod Save America,” Raskin spoke with host and former Obama aide Tommy Vietor about the case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an illegal immigrant living in Maryland who was deported and sent to prison in his home country of El Salvador despite a 2019 court order prohibiting him from being sent back there. While at a White House meeting with Trump last week, Bukele said his nation will not send Abrego Garcia back to the United States, even after the Supreme Court upheld an order for the federal government to “facilitate” his return.
Vietor said a “Latin America policy expert” suggested to him that “Democrats should threaten to take action against any foreign government that participates in the extraordinary rendition of American citizens.” He listed cutting off future aid and seeking to prosecute foreign officials as possible forms of retaliation.
Raskin, who is the top Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee, said he liked the idea, calling it a “complement to something that we need to be doing right now, which is engaging in far more work of transnational democratic solidarity with the democratic governments and the democratic movements and peoples and parties of the world to try to prevent the spread of the lawlessness and the fascist chaos that’s been unleashed against us.”
“But implicit in it,” Raskin continued, “should be the idea that if and when we come back to power — and we will — we are not going to look kindly upon people who facilitated … authoritarianism in our country. That’s an assault on our Constitution and on our people.”
The comment prompted rebukes from some of Trump’s GOP allies on X.
“[Raskin] says he will go after Trump officials when he returns to power. They haven’t learned a single lesson,” quipped Richard Grenell, who is Trump’s special presidential envoy for special missions and interim director of the Kennedy Center.
“They aren’t coming into power any time soon if things continue as they are… that’s the only silver lining in their chaos and lunacy,” said Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC).

Raskin is sworn to uphold the Constitution, not the President or his criminal actions.

Oh ok, so the Levithan that has been ripping us off, and subverting the Constitution is crying that Trump is ignoring them....Yeah, ok, you run with that bull shit....
For that to be true, all experts in every field would have to be in on an elaborate plot to defraud the country. With that many in on it, there would be no need for secrecy. There would be enough participants to just vote in anything they wanted.

I think he’s talking about the “deep state”.

Trumpsters like throwing this term around.

Ask them what it is, who it is, or post an organization chart, and they run away EVERY time.

Like other variations on this conspiracy theory, it is a concept, with no distinctive shape.

It is invisible, all seeing, all knowing, and invisible.

It's either the "deep state" or it's "Soros funded". It's not a valid opposition by American people, even though the nation is evenly divided by party. And it's all driven by a desire to destroy the USA, and the "American way of life", which according to Republicans, is rooted in racism, misogyny, and low wages for workers.

Let's not confuse the issue with facts, eh j-mac???? Can't have reality intrude its ugly head into MAGA lies and conspiracy theories.

Time for the USA to benefit on trade???? What are you trying to trade???? Poisoned food which is killing your people? Gas guzzling cars that Europeans can't afford to drive, and SUV's that are too big for their narrow streets???

What exactly are you going to sell to the people of Japan, or Viet Nam, or Europe????

Europe buys a lot from us,

  • Mineral fuels ($78.9bn) accounting for 21.3 percent of total exports.
  • Pharmaceutical products ($39.4bn) accounting for 10.6 percent of exports.
  • Nuclear reactors, boilers, machinery and mechanical appliances ($36.6bn) accounting for 9.9 percent of exports.
  • Aircraft, spacecraft and parts ($35.1bn) accounting for 9.5 percent of exports.
  • Optical, photographic and cinematographic equipment ($30.8bn) accounting for 8.3 percent of total exports.

Perhaps you haven't noticed that trump's approval rating is the lowest it has ever been. Sure, he won the election, but you failed to recognize how little the country would support all the crap he has pulled.
lmao

Trump has twice the approval rating of Democrats who are down to 27%. :lmao:

Trump is a fascist. He runs his mouth all the time, but Raskin has to shut up? We’re not living in Putin’s Russia yet.
