It is truly bizarre and pathetic to see Western liberals whitewashing/excusing Hamas when Hamas has outlawed homosexuality in Gaza and has imposed Sharia law on women in Gaza, forcing them to wear head coverings in public and preventing many women from even working or going to school. Yeah, you "woke" people really know how to pick your friends.

I wonder how many of the brainless pro-Hamas students who carry "Queers for Gaza" and "Free Gaza" signs realize that gays have no rights in Gaza. Under Hamas rule, Gaza has no free press, no independent judicial system, no civil liberty guarantees, etc. In contrast, Israel has a vibrant free press, a fiercely independent judicial system, and strong civil liberty guarantees. Over two million Arabs in Israel are Israeli citizens. There are Arab representatives in Israel's legislature (Knesset). Etc., etc., etc. Yet, woke liberals demonize Israel and portray Hamas as the victim.

And this is not to even mention the hundreds of inexcusable, unprovoked rocket attacks that Hamas launched against Israeli settlements near Gaza and near the Lebanese border over the last five years.
