She might be able to say that to someone with an upper class upbringing. If she tries that in the poor communities, regardless of the race of her target; she will get a verbal lashing.

Any community would be better served by listening to those who drove themselves to success and then encouraged others to do the same. Not listening to those who found opportunity and then tell others "the world is against you, so you're doomed to failure".
