The Ruger 10/22 in the first picture has a cyclic rate of fire of 1080 rounds per minute, which is faster than an AK-47. You can also purchase a 100-round drum magazine for it.

So does that make that little squirrel rifle an "assault rifle"?

A hundred round drum can be purchased for the other rifle also, but is only semi-automatic like the wood stock 10/22.

If the Marxists/Democrats regulated criminals like they want to do guns, by getting rid of them, then the criminals would dwindle and crime become almost non existent. But if you get rid of all the criminals, the Democrats would lose a majority of their voting base. Well, even the dead vote Democrat.

Which is why most “assault weapon” bans have focused on cosmetic features, that have no bearing at all on the actual capabilities of a particular firearm. Why the AR-15 is covered by nearly all such bans, but the Ruger Mini-14, which fires exactly the same round, at exactly the same rate, with the exact same accuracy, the exact same ballistic characteristics; is not generally considered an “assault weapon” unless you add accessories to it to make it look more like an AR-15.

I disagree, the AR platform is more accurate than the Mini-14.

A determined murderer could just as easily kill as many people with a knife or a truck. I think your unhealthy fixation on firearms is a sign of something deeper.
