For me the complexity of the universe suggests a Divine Intelligence behind it. The finite nature of the Big Bang suggests to me the existence of an Infinite Beginner.
I study and respect each of the world's great religions. I attend an Episcopal Church because that is how I was raised. My church uses the 1928 Book of Common Prayer, because I grew up with it.
I do not think only Episcopalians go to Heaven. There might even be a few atheists up there.
I am ecumenical, and have attended Roman Catholic Eastern Orthodox, Lutheran, Presbyterian, Mormon, and Baptist church services.
In addition to Christianity, I am attracted to Judaism and Buddhism.

For food I like anything vegetarian, as long as it mixes whole grains and beans in the right proportion to get the right mixture of amino acids.
I like classical music. Once I was fired for listening to it at work. I also like 1950s and 1960 rock and roll, and folk music of all national cultures.
Generally speaking I am the opposite of a libertarian. I am in favor of a well financed public sector of the economy paid for by high taxes on the rich and the corporations. I want more environmental regulations.
I am reluctantly in favor of abortion because of my concern for human over population. Gay rights is not my issue. Nevertheless, I think the problem is not that some homosexuals want to get married; it is that many heterosexuals do not want to get married and stay married to the people with whom they have children. I have always disliked the sexual revolution.
My favorite president is Franklin Roosevelt, followed by Abraham Lincoln, followed by Thomas Jefferson. Teddy Roosevelt is probably number four.
My favorite president during my lifetime is Jimmy Carter. My hatred for Trump is visceral, but I agree with him on some issues.
I supported the civil rights movement as a child, a teenager, and a young adult. I have lost my enthusiasm for it.
