These are sensitive discussions, most of which are classified – relaunched in light of a potential American withdrawal of support for Kyiv once Donald Trump takes office on January 20, 2025.

I live in the UK, i lived through much of the cold war but even then the anti Russian propaganda was not as bad as now, believe me it's 24/7 RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA, many of the herd are just too ignorant and uninformed to see how they have been taken in.

This is true. I was employed by the RAF in West Berlin during the Cold War and I can attest to the conviction that the USSR was considered the "enemy" but we had an agreement with them and with the DDR. We (the Western military sections of UK, US, and France) took it in turns guarding Rudolf Hess at Spandau prison and Russian generals were invited into British military facilities as a matter of Allied cooperation. I wouldn't call it appreciation but rather mutual respect. This business today is ridiculous.

Anyway, this by the media is an obvious offer to Trump to play the threat by Russia as the real thing if Kamala and the Dems aren't stopped soon.

He had already hinted and set the stage!

But it's still fraught with great risk and peril for Trump, on account of the fact that it's near impossible for Americans to have any antiwar feelings for Russians.

And strike two against Trump is the fact that it's a proxy war and few Americans are dying yet in the Ukraine.

I tend to agree with this. To put it in another way, what would be the advantage to the total nuclear destruction of some other NATO nation be, Sweden for example?

Russia is still a long way from nuclear being the only option. That just results in both sides losing everything.

America needs to deal with the fact that Russia holds weapons superiority, along with the ability to produce invincible weapons faster than Nato combined.

Make no mistake, China is not sitting idly by. The Brics has now assumed world power and America has itself into a fight to regain it.

Think it through. The conventional weapons fight can only end now with the sinking of one or more aircraft carriers.

Carriers are national assets. If Russia sinks an American carrier, at a minimum, Russia will lose the base that launched the weapons that killed the carrier, if the missile comes from a ship or submarine, the attacking vessel will be killed as well as the base it is assigned to as well. It would take many, possible a hundred missiles or more to penetrate the defenses of a carrier battle group and sink a carrier. We have been practicing defending them against missile swarm attacks by Russia ever since the fifties.
