Zone1 Proof Judeo-Christian Bible Written by Inspiration of God

Don't blame me for your alien conspiracy theory.
Listen dude. You asked for an example of alien, otherworldly, influence in genesis and I provided the irrefutable evidence. Now you call it a conspiracy theory. LAME. Don't you believe what is written in your own bible? No?

Pft.

But to your point that I am an asshole... yes, I am.

Well, thank you again, from the bottom of my heart, for helping me to reveal the wisdom of my God in giving the command yo refrain from the flesh of unclean creatures, swine that do not ruminate, and for so generously and openly displaying the terrifying and deeply disturbing consequence, the death, a curse, for all the world to see.

Good job!

You should lean into your "it's aliens" conspiracy theory.

- is that there is EVIDENCE of its divine inspiration ...

not just the christian bible, all three desert religions use judaism in their preamble including the tablets claimed by moses etched in the heavens that never existed ...

those tablets were never witnessed by anyone but moses who destroyed them and negates all three desert bibles as forgeries for their inclusion that could not possibly be known for their true content.

where is the o p with their evidence where the phony moses 10 commandments came from written in all three desert bibles ....

- is that when you are attending your church ... home base is heaven for the texas vigilantes, time to rest from their daily chores.

The difference between the Judeo-Christian Bible and bibles from other types of religion is that there is EVIDENCE of its divine inspiration by the Abrahamic God. Bibles from other types of religions (eg. the Islamic Koran) are unable to provide evidence of divine inspiration because no such evidence exists.

The Judeo-Christian Bible contains some 2,000 prophesies that have been fulfilled, some written centuries before the fulfillment of the prophesied events. Secular history and archeology bears this out. In addition, Bible writers were privy to information that was not discovered by scientists and explorers until centuries later. Below are two such examples.

Example #1: Some pagan nations believed the earth was flat and that if people walked too far, they would fall off. By the 15th Century when Christopher Columbus claimed he discovered the new world, most Europeans correctly theorized that the earth is a circle or sphere. However, it was not until after the first circumnavigation of the globe was led by Ferdinand Magellan in the year 1519 that this theory of a circular earth was proven as fact. More than 2,000 years before Ferdinand Magellan attempted to sail around the globe, the prophet Isaiah did not merely theorize but stated that the earth is a circle. Isaiah was inspired by God to write:

"{22} There is One who is dwelling above the circle of the earth, the dwellers in which are as grasshoppers, the One who is stretching out the heavens just as a fine gaze, who spread them out like a tent in which to dwell, {28} Have you not come to know or have you not heard? Jehovah, the Creator of the extremities of the earth, is a God to time indefinite. He does not tire out or grow weary. There is no searching out of his understanding." (Isaiah 40:22 and 28)

Example #2: Prior to the 17th century, none of the best scientific minds could explain what causes the earth to be positioned in a stable orbit. It was not until 1687 that Isaac Newton published his theory that gravitational forces are the explanation behind the earth's stability. (Gravity is also the reason why humans can move around without fear of toppling off the earth into space.) More than 3,000 years before Newton's existence, under divine inspiration, Moses wrote that the earth hangs upon nothing (indicating gravity), as follows:

"He [God] is stretching out the north over the empty place, hanging the earth upon nothing;..." (Job 26:7)

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
1.
How could Isaiah have known that the earth is circular, considering that the writing of the book of Isaiah was completed in 732 B.C.E. and it wasn't until the 16th century AD/CE (2,251 years AFTER Isaiah wrote that the earth is a circle) that Ferdinand Magellan confirmed it?

2. How did Moses know that the earth hangs upon nothing--indicating gravity--considering that the book of Job was completed in 1473 B.C.E. and it wasn't until 1687 AD/CE (3,160 years AFTER Moses wrote that the earth hangs upon nothing) that Isaac Newton published his theory about gravitational forces?
Sir Isaac Newton

3. Where did Isaiah and Moses get this information?

I've waited, and now the thread is 11 pages and almost 10 days, and none of the believers here have submitted a whit of evidence that the bible is inspired. Getting some things right and making claims if not evidence. Massaging the verses to make them mean what you contend or want them to mean is not evidence. Ignoring all the contradictions and mistakes in the bible is not evidence of any God inspiration. Nor are verses where he lays out instructions for beating your slaves, because they are your property is evidence of God's inspiration when he could have written that he forbids the owning of slaves. Nor is saying that homosexuals deserve death evidence of God's inspiration.

Let me know when anyone at all comes up with reasons and facts that the god awful, horrible, decadent thing called a bibe was inspired by anyone with more than two brain cells.

The account of creation knew 6,000 years before science that the universe was created from nothing.

no one in antiquity ever believed the universe is created from nothing or anyone else that do not deliberately misconstrue nature to convince others of their own irrational beliefs ...

- again, where is the o p with their evidence where the phony moses 10 commandments came from written in all three desert bibles .... the same as the above lies and forgeries of the desert dwellers.

Not polytheists. They believed like you believe. But monotheists did.

ridiculous - that either has a bearing on whether or not the universe is created with what already existed.

ridiculous - that either has a bearing on whether or not the universe is created with what already existed.
The relevance is that monotheists were right and polytheists were wrong and the monotheists knew 6,000 years before science did that the universe was created from nothing.

Pythagoras guessed the Earth was round by observing the moon and Eratosthenes accurately measured its circumference. Both ancient Greeks were polytheists. No bible needed. By the time Columbus came around, the fact that the Earth was round was widely known. Very primitive tribes were more concerned with survival by hunting and gathering. Less primitive tribes did pay attention to the stars in relation to the seasons because of crops and harvesting.
The book was written by "humans" and thus it proves nothing.
As far as prophecies go, Nostradamus did a fair job at prophecy, as did Edgar Cayce. Neither confirms a deity, only good personal insight.

As I said, I don't do bullshit and making a claim that a document that was written at least a hundred years after the events and changed by scribes and then the elders decided which writings to keep and which would go is somehow an inspired document is to me, crazy cultland.

You people have proven nothing but that the bible version that resonates with each one is the "troo one. A billion Muslims say you're all whackjobs as well.
Paradoxical#1:

Thanks for showing who you really are, whining earlier and begging me and kjw47 for evidence the Bible was inspired. In other words, putting on a pretence that you were interested in proof.

For your insincerity, you are now banished to my Ignore List where I won't have to waste my precious time scrolling past the nonsense you continue to post.

BTW: You will be in good company on my Ignore List, since your pal ding is right there waiting for you.
