Progressivism unilaterally rejected on a global scale

It's both a shame and laughable that you don't even know what the words "unilateral" or "global" mean. For one thing, both rightwing and leftwing politicians have risen to power through out history. You cherry picking a few nations to fit your dumb narrative makes you look like a douche bag.

I mean Christ, Trump lost the popular vote by more than any other president who won the electoral college. He just got lucky three states went rogue against Hillary. That's all you have to show.

Another far left drone that denies that the world is starting to reject the far left religion!

Many realize that it is just as bad as ISIS!

Does it remind you of the 1930's ? It should, but the thing today it is immigration and terrorism that scare the people into fascist actions. Nationalism is big too as our election and brexit demonstrate.

"Is Donald Trump a fascist in these terms? I now believe so, because by all accounts he represents, in every sense, white voters, women and men, who think the nation itself—now construed as a racially derived entity—is under siege. He’s trying to defend their American nation. His constituents don’t love their country, they love themselves." The Anatomy of Populism

"Many observers recoil at the seeping of Hindutva (Hinduness) into the national consciousness. A provocatively-titled piece in The New York Times by author Pankaj Mishra began thus, “Brexit, Erdogan, Putin and now Trump. Something is rotten in the state of democracy… The stink first became unmistakable in India in May 2014, when Narendra Modi, a member of an alt-right Hindu organisation inspired by fascists and Nazis, was elected prime minister.”" India is displaying classic signs that foreshadow fascism

Trump’s Embrace of Totalitarianism is America’s Dirty Little Secret

Then came the election that sent shockwaves around the world - Donald Trump was elected President of the United States.

Donald Trump Is Elected President in Stunning Repudiation of the Establishment

Yet 90% of Congress returned to their jobs....
Yes, that's how stupid we are;

We off shore the jobs of hard working Americans that actually build things that others want and need and we keep 90% of our corrupt, inept and completely useless Washington, money wasting, critters.

Personally I think we need to outsource our politicians & bureaucrats and keep our factories. :)

P@triot
progressive cooperative economics and govt
works by building from the grassroots level up,
and does not work dictated from the top down.

The only way regressive policies can be implemented is through force via a centralized authority. There has NEVER been a grass roots regressive system because people who work harder than others resent the dead weight.

Really? That's all? If Billy000's statement there isn't the perfect illustration of progressive stupidity, I don't know what is.

Billy...there are more elections in the U.S. than the president. The House was turned over to Republicans. The Senate was turned over to Republicans. 33 of the 50 states are controlled by Republican governors and Republican state legislatures. Of the 17 that aren't, only a laughable 5 are controlled by both a Dumbocrat governor and a Dumbocrat state legislature.

Thank you for once again illustrating how ignorant the average progressive is. They literally have no idea about the U.S. structure of government and think that the only election is the election for president.

Well considering that a portion of those were elected as a repudiation of the establishment already (Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Mike Lee, etc. have only been in Congress since 2010 and were sent there because they were outsiders).

Also, Republicans controlled the House and Senate already. It's progressivism that is being rejected world-wide more than "the establishment".
