"What does evidentiary hearing mean?
An evidentiary hearing is a legal court proceeding that involves eyewitness testimony, given under oath, that's relevant to the case. The presiding judge will hear and take into consideration live eyewitness evidence presented during the hearing in order to make a fair ruling."
The rule is simple. If no evidence is offered, no hearing is warranted.
Most of the cases were tossed because there was no evidence offered and/or no specific allegations. Other cases were tossed because Trumps team filed them to the wrong court.
Mostly they were just hearsay. and some names were even redacted.
Many of the affidavits offered were highly suspect and were some time written for the person filing the affidavits. Project Veritas wrote many of the affidavits themselves and the persons signing them didnt even know what they said.
And swearing to such an affidavit under oath isn't really much of a risk to someone of facing perjury charges since they are seldom prosecuted, have a minor punishment, and are hard to convict. Besides, Im sure there were plenty of Trumpers will to commit perjury.
You can't point to a single case where there was tangible evidence of fraud. Not one. And they are all public record.
BTW, some of the fraud charges DID get a hearing and they were still rejected.
