The part you're missing is that pro life is NOT control over another person's body. It is appreciating and defending the right to life as an unalienable right guaranteed by our Constitution. It means that nobody, not even a mother or father, can abuse, neglect, endanger or murder their children with impunity. Pro life means that the unborn is a human being the same as the infant the mother holds in her arms and is worthy of the same protections as that infant.

Evenso, just as the federal government leaves it to the states to provide child protective services, it leaves it to the states to decide what laws will regulate abortion. That is definitely a right wing, MAGA concept, not leftist.
