I don't know. Do we trust somebody with a contract for a space program who is saying the things about the President and Congress that Musk is saying? That is trying to tear down everything the people's elected representatives are doing instead of pointing out the specific problems with it?I don’t care wha you think, because I know what the Republicans have said.
Since when is this normal?

Musk-Trump dispute includes threats to SpaceX contracts
An escalating feud between President Trump and Elon Musk June 5 included threats to cancel SpaceX contracts and decommission spacecraft.spacenews.com
Threatening to revoke government contracts because someone says mean things about you isn’t normal at all. It’s pretty corrupt.
The Big Beautiful Bill is not a spending/omnibus bill but a policy and initiative bill. Elon is brilliant but he is wrong to say that the whole thing should be scrapped. There are so many things in the bill that are critical to U.S. stability and the general welfare--making the Trump 45 tax reforms permanent, border security, etc.--that would be disastrous to not establish via legislation.
Elon should be far more selective in his criticisms as should everybody who is attacking the bill. Yes there are some things that should be debated and possibly removed. But there is far more there that will be beneficial for everybody.
Elon definitely has helped America and Americans with his innovations and initiatives. But should everything in the space program be contracted? These are all problems that will have to be worked out.
