More winning! This is the benefit of having a sharp business man as our bold leader of these times. He is accomplishing so many things, and saving the country money. This project was wasteful spending from the get go..

Was supposed to be 4 billion dollars. Such a liberal Democrat typical scammer.

HELL YEA!!!! TEN YEARS AND A HUNDRED BILLION DOLLARS LATER. THIS IS WHY WE PUT TRUMP IN OFFICE!!! :yes_text12:

There are similarities between the high speed rail and the Central Park ice rink

That high-speed rail system was a boondoggle from the outset that never should have received the first penny of federal taxdollars. This is what you get when democrats run things.
Democrats made a killing on all the 'studies' involved. Just another Dem money laundering operation.

Another gatewaypundit piece of trash.

Why would taxpayers from 49 other states be funding a railroad meant to only serve Californians?

They can pay for that themselves.

This started long ago with governor Brown and was supposed to cost a few billion and be high speed. Turns out it was intended to mostly go along small podunk farming towns and made stops along the way so that the average speed from LA to San Francisco was maybe 55-60 MPH, and it would take you longer than if you drove. It was designed to get a few cars off the freeway.

The initial billions spent went to attorney friends and consultants, and that took years. They had no plans of where the rails would go and people complained that it would cut through poor areas because "the rich" didn't want any rails near them. Then they were going to use eminent domain all over the place and on and on.
'
For show, they laid about a mile of track with fanfare so they could make it seem like progress was being made, but it was joke. The rail was in a unused portion of an already built train station in downtown LA. So as usual and the way Communist states go, only attorneys, consultants and connected people made any money and no one knows where billions went to.
