Preemptive Pardons

Who?...and for what? Given what Trump and his minions are about to visit on this country, the rule of law seems to mean nothing anymore..so....again...a big shrug. :)
So you get to make up a catastrophic what-if and go full vigilante abuse of office to combat the hyperbolic scenario you made up?

That’s like: Hey, I’m going to murder you because based on how you’re looking at me, it’s obvious you’re going to murder me… totally justified murder!

Joe should blanket pardon all registered Democrats for the next 5 years. I'm OK with that.

Let's see how quickly they change their tune. :eusa_whistle:

i have no problems with dark brandon offering & no problems with any of them taking it - since donny has stated he wanted them jailed & will weaponise his FBI with cash pattel, who has an enemies list.

dude - that writing is on the wall, & it matters not if there's any ' guilt '.

Quote trump saying he wanted them…and who are yoj talking about? Jailed

So it has been admitted that Biden is discussing preemptive pardons. The only such pardon I know of in American history was for former President Nixon, and that was a unique reason for doing so.

Any such pardons are an admission that these people were involved in lawfare, such as Jack Smith, and lies, such as Liz Cheney.

More disdain for America should Biden act on such preemptive pardons, and such pardons would e of questionable impact and would end up in the Supreme Court.
Where are these pardons you speak of?

The Who’s Who on Kash Patel’s Crazy Enemies List

Trump’s pick to run the FBI has already made it known who he plans to persecute if he gets confirmed.

“We will go out and find the conspirators,” Patel said last year on Steve Bannon’s podcast, “not just in government, but in the media.… Whether it’s criminally or civilly, we’ll figure that out.”

Who are these conspirators? In his 2022 book, Government Gangsters, Patel names them; they number 60. President Donald Trump has nominated for FBI director someone who compiled and publicized his very own enemies list. As a public service, I append Patel’s entire list to the end of this article.
Patel doesn’t literally call his list, which appears as an appendix in Government Gangsters, an enemies list; more blandly, he calls it “Members of the Executive Branch Deep State.” But “deep state,” in the context of Trumpworld grievance, is no neutral term. In the book, Patel calls the deep state “a cabal of unelected tyrants” and “the most dangerous threat to our democracy.”

you're welcome.

You certainly have come full circle when it comes to the weaponization of government.

Hunter already pled guilty to this stuff. Not sure what you are bitching about here.
This thread ain't about Hunter.

This is about Biden's pardoning everyone else like Smith, Cheney, Garland, Schiff, et al...

Turns out I was right, didn't it. You quoted "Biden would not pardon Hunter anytime soon. Accepting a pardon is an admission of guilt." from
View attachment 1051703
So it certainly wasn't anytime soon back then, long before Hunter's trial. Now Joe has f#cked you, taking Hunter off the table, with nothing to do about it. Anybody that didn't think Joe would pardon his own son, Hunter before leaving office is just a stupid sh!t.
This thread ISN'T about Hunter!

Read the OP or the post of mine above.

So you stand by your statement that accepting a pardon is an admission of guilt.

A person who is innocent would prove that in court and refuse the pardon.

I guess you should not have quoted me from the Hunter pardon thread from 2020. How would you have like me to respond, if not, to your quoting me on the Hunter Biden thread? If you don't like my responses from 4 years ago, don't invite response by quoting, especially if it does not apply to the thread topic you wish discussed. Makes you sound mental.:omg:

Obviously I contrasting your reply there to the topic at hand.

That when Fauci and Smith and Cheney and Schiff and Garland and the perhaps hundreds of others Biden may pardon except those blanket pardons ... you agree that they are 100% admitting their guilt.

You, do agree with that ...correct?

I doubt Fauci, Smith, Cheney and Schiff are guilty of felony crimes. They need, nor deserve, preemptive pardons. I will be glad to watch your show trials, as I keep popcorn and Corona on hand, my favorites for political theater. :D

Garland does not need a pardon. You can give it to the rest if you want.

And yes, It is a tacit admission of guilt but folks plead guilty all the time to bargain down the penalties.
