Many, many, many regulations can be cut while still maintaining some guardrails. Regulations are strangling businesses and prohibit productivity. Climate change regulations are a big culprit that needs to be cut to the bone.

Bullshit. Honest businesses don't have to worry about regulations. It's just the shitty ones that do. Take the 2008 crisis. The banksters couldn't wait to start gambling with other people's money, knowing the government would bail them out, again. Not a one of those fuckers went to prison.

It is always Europe that you lefties jump to. Western Europe is a secularist’s dream. Move there if you like it so much. Stop trying to being American DOWN to their level. My neighbor is German and an American citizen. He will be the first to tell you that Americans have a much glorified view of Europe. The grass is always greener syndrome. He stayed here for a reason.

Actually, they are well above America. Americans have the lowest level of education in the Western world; they have the worst health metrics, and there's simply not a metric in the world where Americans do better than Western Europeans or Japanese.

When your neighbor gets sick and his insurance company goes into "Deny, Defend, depose" mode, let me know how that works out for him.

Lunatic blue states are in the minority. Pulling federal funding from them would potentially wake them up. I can’t wait to see a major from one of these looney places arrest an ICE agent and watch him be thrown in prison for obstruction. It would be hilarious.

So it has been admitted that Biden is discussing preemptive pardons. The only such pardon I know of in American history was for former President Nixon, and that was a unique reason for doing so.

Any such pardons are an admission that these people were involved in lawfare, such as Jack Smith, and lies, such as Liz Cheney.

More disdain for America should Biden act on such preemptive pardons, and such pardons would e of questionable impact and would end up in the Supreme Court.

Nope, guy, every end of a presidency, some president pardons a bunch of people who shouldn't get pardons, and every year, they whine about it.

And nothing changes because it has to involve a constitutional amendment.

Here's the thing.

Pretty much since Jerry Ford pardoned Nixon, it's expected that presidents use their pardon power to spare their loyalists.

Bush pardoned the Iran-Contra figures.
Clinton pardoned the Whitewater figures.
Bush Jr. Commuted the sentence of Scooter Libby
Trump pardoned all the Russian Colluders
Biden pardoned his son.

Of all of those, I'm probably most sympathetic towards pardoning Hunter because he's not a public figure. He was charged with things that normally would have never been charged criminally.

This is something the voters should think about before voting, because once someone is elected to the position, the system can't impose any checks or limits on his use of it except through impeachment.
