Well. Place your bets. We are at $3.88. A "normal" March to June build is about 10% suggesting we will be $4.20 in June if nothing gets better or worse.

Meaningless. Oil is a global commodity.

The fact is that 20% of the GLOBAL output goes through the straits of Hormuz, and Iran has effectively cut that off. If their Houthi buddies start up in the Red Sea, that's another 6% of the global output.

Even if we produced 100% of our usage domestically, (we don't) the GLOBAL cost of oil is going up because Iran has cut off 20% of the oil.

A second day hovering at $3.98 nationally... first day of no increase in weeks. Gas prices usually rise a few cents over the weekend so we will see if it breaks through $4 or not.

Customers of mine and other acquaintances are showing signs of worry or even mild panic in my area. Walk in business has significantly decreased over the past week.

The price of gas is such as ridiculous metric of a government's success of failure. I oppose the war in Iraq because it isn't justified. Period. And if it were justified, I'd support it regardless of what it did to gas prices. It's not the job of the President to score bargain prices for consumers. He's the President of the nation, not the manager at Sam's Club.
