Post altering spelling in words

When I 'type 'her' in a post, it invariably changes to 'here' when I hit reply and it posts. I click on 'edit', and it's back to 'her' again. Have I hit some weird setting I'm not aware of?

I'm thinking I accidently hit something in the 'spellcheck' feature or something and substituted the vocabulary in my settings, something odd like that.

Or maybe I'm just refusing to accept my keyboard is worn out ... It's one of those first 'ergonomic' and 'spill proof' Microsoft keyboards that came out in the early or mid-1990's.

I have had similar problems, but attributed it to user error.

I will try to carefully note what happens and compare.
