No. I have my own retirement that I fully funded as well as my own medical insurance. I'm also 80, so my time is short anyway.

Firing half the staff at Social Security just means that hold times at the 800 # double, and a hearing that used to take a year to schedule will now take two.

Trump is cutting America's face out of spite.

Have you been to a SSA or VA office? Have YOU personally seen employees sitting on their asses and ignoring patients, patriots or paperwork?

I'll bet a dollar YOU have not. Not even on video.

If We, The Peeps really want to save money, We will stop spending so much on corporate subsidies and weapons.

We would also do well consider fair and simple taxes - We, The Chumps don't have a clue as to what our economy is worth, because of the complicated tax codes and the incredibly stupid idea of distributing welfare in the form of 'tax credits'.

We spend a LOT on medical care as well, but that goes for Veterans and, for the most part, to people who contribute to the system.

Medicaid is the exception. But, I, myself, just can't stomach the thought of old and disabled Americans surviving on dog food because of sheer bad luck and the fact that We, the Peeps, would rather buy guns and oil than pay their Medicare premiums or subsidize their drugs.


Remember... the federal payroll, including Congress Critters, the President, and all their entourage is about 4%.

Fire everyone and 96% of the problem remains with nobody to manage it.

When you do find that rare creature that cares about their job, and hasn't been consigned to some basement closet, you nurture them, treasure them, and usually hire them away from their government job because most of the good ones get tired of the lazy people slowing everyone else down....and being protected by like type people.

And at least they live in this time, and this country. The last time a bureaucracy got this corrupt was in the 1600's and the Tzar had them all killed.

If either of you want to grow a pair and get back in the game... here is a free strategy:

1. Announce to the world that you are giving the Republicans enough rope to hang themselves.

2. Remind the world that the right does NOT have a mandate, they have a majority and a minimum one at that.

3. Tell #MikeJohnson that if he has any business that needs to go through proper channels, to come up with something that has 2/3 of the House on board, and you will give them the Senate.

4. Remind the voters that they get to confirm or change their choice in 2026, and............. relax.

One of two things will happen:

The Republicans will either be rocking and rolling through 2026 and 2028 on their accomplishments and we will all be joining up,

or

The Democrats will get the House and Senate back in 2026 with election promises of stopping the perceived madness via "Impeachment III - Octogenarian Edition"
