I use it because it was the default when I originally joined the board and I find it easier to use that V2.

V2 was the default for me.

I tried V1 for only a short while and there were aspects of it that I just didn't like.

Plus, my colorblindness sometimes fucks with me when I change color schemes...I'm used to the way things look in V1

Wow...Sweet.

The color scheme is way easier on the eyes.

One reason I like it better is because you get the new post count in the upper right as well as PM and rep notification.

v2 because Obama mandated that all users in DC had to use v2.

Not only are there differences in appearance betwixt V1 and V2, but there are also differences in functionality.

For example, V2 gives one the option of viewing "Active Topics" in the top menu bar. V1 does not (or at least I have not found it).
