A majority of Americans say they would not vote for a socialist presidential candidate even if the person was otherwise qualified for the position, according to a new poll.

The Gallup poll’s results, released Tuesday, showed that only 45 percent of Americans would vote for their party’s presidential nominee if he or she was a socialist, and over 53 percent of respondents said they would not.

Doesn't matter. If Bernie wins they will try their hardest to blunt his socialism where needed, and trumpet it where it plays.

So NY and Cali will get the Full Bern, and places like Iowa and Indiana will get Bern Lite.

Bernie will not win a national election.
He will do well in the northeast and extreme west. Everywhere else he will fall on his face.

Bernie is similar to Trump as he will campaign on his personality and his own personal agenda. We need to be careful in not underestimating him like Dems underestimated Trump.

Bernie would have beat Trump in 2016, I have consistently said that.
He cannot beat Trump now.
in 2016 people wanted someone different. Hillary should have utterly destroyed Trump, it shouldn't have even been close. And that is what the media totally missed. People did not want another corrupt establishment President. Trump is not one still. (Obviously). And the economy is strong.
It is not the same race as it was in 2016.

Most Americans don't know what Socialism is- so, yeah, they will vote for a Socialist- just their brand.

The Trump campaign needs to insist upon debate moderators from both sides, regardless who the Democrat candidate is.

Your imagination is impressive but sick and the product of a regressive mind.

Yes.
I can imagine the Questions by most moderators:

To Bernie: "Mr. Sanders, are you afraid of another 4 years of corruption, chaos and embarrassment should you not win?"
To Trump: "Mr (oh God do I have to say it)...President [face grimaced] why was there so much chaos in your administration, and do you understand the question"?

Bernie had no chance in any national election in 2016 (or 2020)
Biden could have beaten Trump in 2016 - The Obama/Clinton cabal would not let him run.

No.
Biden is not nearly as popular as the media wants him to be.
If you yourself are not troubled by his bizarre behavior around young girls then you are choosing not to see it.
Couple that with the fact the man literally has trouble cobbling together a coherent sentence. He is way-way past his prime time.
Hillary would have beaten Trump had she did more than run a compulsory campaign. She believed the left media saying over and over she was going to win a landslide victory.

Yeah....no more rigged debate moderators. It's so ghey.....although most folks who tune in do get that dynamic so it might be irrelevant. Either way Trump will be prepared and will dominate.:113:

Not sure of any miscommunication - yes Biden is done - Biden was not done in 2016 as the sitting VP.

Yes he was.
Those videos of him with the very young girls is very disturbing. In 2016 probably only 5% of the voting population had seen them, the media totally blacked out reporting on it. But if he would have ran against Trump, everyone would have saw them, and once you have - you can't undo it.
