My daughter is a paramedic and treated a girl yesterday that OD'ed 6 times in the last two weeks. They had given her boyfriend NARCAN for her on a previous call, but he refused to give it to her and just called the EMS. They took her to the hospital and she walked out AMA with blood oxygen % of 81 as they were leaving. Some people just can't be saved.

The other day a group of them were sitting around talking about a related call and joking about how they gave the unconscious drug addict the Narcan, and when she came to, she started swearing she hadn't done any drugs, while the drugs were laying on the table, and she had just been saved from an overdose.
