Obama also intentionally targeted and killed a US citizen in Yemen. No trial. Not even a court hearing. Just ran a drone strike against him. Killed one of his kids in the process. Each of those boats kills Americans and is a drain on the population who has to deal with the homeless drug addicts and associated crime. It seems like an important operation to me, and it costs peanuts to blow up these boats compared to other uses of the military.

Arguing "no evidence there will be an effect [in the future]" is a bogus argument. Did we blow up Afghan boats or poppy farms?

A point would be, "after years of blowing up boats, it has had no effect," but that will probably turn out unlikely to be true, and you know it.

Yes you retard we did. As well as seizing tons and tons of it. And spending huge amounts of money trying to get them to grow wheat instead of poppy. A program which was wildly unsuccessful BTW. We also killed countless numbers of Baluch people who the poppy farmers use to ship their opium to the border.

There was a poppy farm that grew up that utilized the wastewater river that ran out of Camp Leatherneck in Afghanistan.

You cant kill your way out of these problems.
