Politics, Nationalism & Elections

That's the point though. Whites of privilege aren't trying to have more kids, hence America and Europe's need of immigrants.

Not every white in Europe has "privilege". All that has to be done is to encourage marriage and parenthood- low taxes, housing, medical care, gov't job preferences, education assistance, and a new cultural/religious outlook.

Want to take a bigger-picture look at what's happening in America? Some news from Europe might help us understand Trump's victory better.

We're seeing a right wing nationalist movement spread around the world right now (with even Musk endorsing Germany's hard Right party), and yesterday's horrific murders in Germany by a Saudi national only add fuel to the fire. So what's happening here with immigration is not isolated, that's for damn sure.

Seems to me we've reached some kind of global breaking point, where citizens in many countries say their countries (perhaps more accurately, the souls of their countries) are being diluted by immigrants (in Europe's case, Middle Eastern/Islamic), and that it has gone too far. This view is being reflected in their politics.

Whether you agree with this or not, whether you like it or not, and dismiss it if you like, but the pushback is here. And now that a heavy-handed approach has been sanctioned by American voters, don't be surprised if the pushback to muticulturalism is global and aggressive in nature. Countries are now validating each other.

It's paradoxical that the stated (failed) intent of the US invasion of Iraq was to spread democracy to the ME while it had the actual effect of spreading fascist populism to Europe in reaction to the displacement of millions of Muslims.

Sure they do. The first world lives off the exploitation of resources in the third world.

Who said it's a tragedy? I squabbled with the Left here for years, PREDICTING a backlash because of their counterproductive tactics. And I was right.

Thousands of examples are available, but you'd dismiss them all.

But you did what you and your fellow Trumpsters always do: You (a) made an ignorant assumption, and then (b) launched a personal attack.

That's your level. That's the best you can do. And it's why I no longer engage much.

You bore me. You're dismissed.
No, you don't engage because you can't stand being proven wrong....You're a joke here...

Here we go again.

What is my opinion on this issue?

You must know.
You keep posting these articles like what is happening is a bad thing. The anti-immigrant crusade in Europe is a good thing, is it not? There will be backlash, but at much less cost than letting the infection continue.

I have to agree with you there. Look at what France did to Haiti and what Bankers did and are doing to Africa and America

I suspect what’s happening is more and more people are tired of being screwed by the criminals of the ruling class and wealthy elite. They want real change. This may be wishful thinking on my part.

In any event, Trump is not going to change a thing. So, the American worker will continue searching, but to no avail. We need a revolution in this country.
Trump is essentially the missing third party candidate that is equally hated by the two corporations posing as political parties.

I am under no delusion that he can fix the mess created by decades of irresponsible government lacking real representation of its voters.

But the Bull in the China shop was needed as a response to the political elite of both parties constantly putting its own agenda ahead of the citizens.

Mac is hyperventilating about right wing extremism when for the majority of voters it was simply a rejection of the status quo of the DC elite who cough up even more horrible candidates like a cat horking up a hairball.

Trump may be an asshole, but he is the People's asshole in response to the criminal assholes running DC.

What makes LDCs particularly vulnerable to food insecurity?

Three key factors explain why LDCs are so vulnerable to food insecurity.

First, they are unable to meet their food demand domestically and are highly dependent on international trade to secure access to food items. The share of food in LDCs’ merchandise imports is almost double the world average, while the share of cereals in their food imports is almost three times greater (Figure 1). Food items account for more than one-third of total merchandise imports in Afghanistan, Benin, Haiti, Eritrea, Guinea-Bissau, Sao Tome and Principe and Yemen, and more than 50% in Somalia.

It takes an outsider to overthrow a corrupt oligarchy aka the Uniparty.

Dear SweetSue92 ,

Mac1958 prides himself on being inscrutable

His goal is to be on both sides of every issue to the extent that no one really knows where he stands

He implies without much elaboration that the massive migrant invasion of europe and America is not an altogether good thing

But at the same time never misses a chance to throw rocks at conservative Euros and MAGAs who oppose the migration

The best way to catch mac1958 is with a net

because he’s far too slimy to grab with your hands

White Europe won't survive without immigration. Whites around the world aren't breeding enough to maintain their populations.
White Europe won't survive with immigration. Once you've replaced all the Whites with Middle Easterners and Africans (Hispanics and Asians in the case of the USA) you no longer have White Europe anymore. In a century Europe is going to be a third world shithole like Africa. White Europe can survive a declining population, but it can't survive an invasion of third worlders who outbreed them.

That was your interpretation of what I was saying.

Seeing a problem is one thing, the way it is addressed is another. The Left saw issues with certain groups of people and screwed up when it weaponized PC/Identity Politics. Now the Right may do the same thing -- overcompensate, over-correct, over-react. I don't know, but early indications are not promising.
