The problem with Big Brother and tryannical governments is that they have this really bad habit of finding crimes wherever they look for crimes, even if no crimes are actually being committed. So the idea you have nothing to fear if you aren't doing anything wrong is grossly misplaced. If that axiom were true, there would be no need for the Fourth Amendment.

Being okay with the idea of the government looking in more places for crimes without evidence of criminal activity actually occuring is very much against the American principles of freedom and liberty.

It saddens and disgusts me when people are willing to surrender their freedom so casually.
