Police Arrest Father for Playing Ball with 6 Year Old Daughter

I wish I could go fishing in my state. I know of no better way to socially distance than to be alone on a bass boat on the lake fishing. But my state like many others is in a state of emergency and all the parks and waterways are closed. We are under a stay a home order, which has many many exceptions, but using public parks is not one of them.

I can understand the other side of this issue. If cops, wardens, park rangers, etc start allowing people to use the lakes and parks, then some people will congregate unsafely just as they were before the parks were closed. I then to keep away from people anyway. Not everyone is that way.
oh for fk sake.
Either the park is closed or it is not closed. If the cop has been ordered to enforce the park being closed, then what is he to do when people are in the park?
This is yet another example of why we have the 2nd Amendment. This is government.
A gunfight with police over using a "closed" park during a declared emergency? OMG!!!!!!

Exactly if you read the link he admitted knowing the park was closed, so why the heck is a former Cop breaking the rules and being snooty to police in front of his daughter?

DNA Vaccines: Permanent Manipulation of Humans and Animals

DNA vaccines, a type of genetic engineering, were first tinkered within the early 1990s. A small snip of DNA, say, from a herpes virus, makes its way into a bacterial “bubble” called a plasmid, by way of injection. When the plasmid-laden vaccine is injected, the cellular immune system gears up to eliminate the foreign protein (plasmid + viral DNA snip). And at the same time, the humoral immune system creates antibodies against the viral DNA. When a herpes virus enters the body, the memory T-cells and B-cells work together to attack the foreign virus. This eliminates the virus it and avoids infection.

This process is not without problems.

  • The DNA snip can incorporate into the host’s DNA, leading to THE DEMOCRATS could care less abut this virus yes once again it is real. it does kill some but not any where near what these MSM LOSERS are making ppl thing..
THIS IS ALL TO TAKE OUR RIGHT I'M SORRY I sound like a broken record but our country is fighting for the last breath left we are way past being brought down to our knees we are now losing our air..

I am not necessarily for the closing of parks; however, if a park is "closed" but the cop looks the other way when a few people are using it, soon many people will be using the park due to lack of enforcement. When it comes to enforcing the park closer, it is better to "nip in in the bud" early than to wait until there is a crowd.

You think the freedom to assemble is going to be over park access?

The suspension of the US Constitution and so many like you being fine with it has emboldened the government. They’ll be using every and any excuse now to control people’s freedom.

And when many use it then you step in. A man and a little girl are no threat to anyone except the fascist government.

Nope, never said that. park closed all day, yes they should be opened for the times scheduled for the park.

But that's like saying I demand my bank to be open for walk up instead of just drive through, when the hours are posted on a permanent sign instead of a piece of paper hung in the window. We really need to be respectful of eatch other in real life then just me, me me. And be aware or the elderly .

Not all is healthy as I or you, i presume.

Here the forest preserves are still open, as in there are gates across the driveways that the rangers open and close each day and the launches are still open, so fishers, boaters, kayakers etc. are out and about. The forest preserve parking lots loaded with people and the nutty SJW's are all over facebook snapping their pictures of parking lots full of cars and wagging their fingers at people doing exactly what they are supposed to be doing. I want to give a collective slap to all of those idiots that think everyone should just be hiding in their basements like rats from a cat and, if they aren't, these self-righteous pricks are here to tell them what is right. It's the latest social media 'movement' and, as such is spinning completely out of control directly into Stupidville.

We're also seeing the creeping gradualism of this type of thing in fast-motion, as one nutter tries to one-up the last nutter on their brilliant ideas on how to restrict people's movements ever further. We're seeing that in state and local governments all over the place as they just pile up one action/restriction on top of the next while we are nothing more than a few days to peak in a lot of places in the country, which has seemed to elude all of these busybodies.

Shit has to end, and soon.

I don't have a beef with the cop that is simply doing his job. If you don't like the park being closed, then take it up with the governor or mayor that ordered the park closed.

The cop gave the man a lawful order, backed up by a declared state of emergency and most likely a stay at home order and park closer order by the state's Governor. Cops cannot maintain authority if they simply let people defy such lawful orders. If the guy playing in the park is really an ex cop, then he should understand that......then again, maybe that is why he is an EX Cop.

how so? the park is paid for by tax money, the public owns it, not the mayor. the mayor maintains it with personnel, but the property is the public's. and shutting it down, vs close at midnight are two different things. It isn't like walk up or drive through or entering the main facility of a privately owned bank.

sure there are, they ignore illegal foreigners breaking the law. what's the difference?

I took an oath to uphold the US Constitution, and while I no longer hold those duties, I consider my oath still in place. Many of our political leaders and servants are enjoying their new fascist powers.

At the very least those cops asses are in a sling. They just maybe offered up as sacrificial offers to ward of an impending law suit with the financial damages.

It does when you pull a gun on a cop for telling you to leave a closed park. I hope you would not really do that. Hopefully you live far from other people so that you and government rarely cross paths.
