Nice try. The air in the ice is compressed. Very compressed. A full mile down it is so compressed it no longer exists as gas, but is forced into the ice, just as the North American Ice Age forced hydrocarbons into rock, which we call shale. So while 100 feet down in ice age glacier the gas is 20 fold compressed, it is way more than that another mile lower, 100 fold, possibly more. So while the top layers of the ice core data are 10% air, that air is still compressed, the further down, the more compressed it is.

Newsflash: atmospheric pressure = gas gradient in psi/ft x the atmospheric column height in ft. The gas gradient is based upon the density of the gas composition adjusted for temperature. Increasing temperature decreases gas density and thus decreases atmospheric pressure.
