Yes, I have a lot of sympathy for this Israeli professor who lost her young daughter to a suicide bomber, but that does not mean I have to agree with her points of view or her reasons. I wish she would debate someone and not just explain things to us as she sees it. Yes, she sees Israel preparing their own kind to be soldiers and have a slanted favoritism towards the Jewish plight, fine. What country at war for decades would not be interested in having their own people patriotic for this all important cause? In other words, what in the world does this professor expect from a nation that has been hated, attacked, lied about and threatened for 80 years?

I am very disappointed by not what she said are in the Israeli text books, but how she made Israel look like some evil monster with no cause for its military and security measures.

I watched more than 20 minutes of that 28 minute video above. I do not ask anyone to spend even 2 minutes on the video I supply here in contrast. But it is Michael Medved who speaks of the myths, mistakes and facts about this century long conflict. He, IMO, is much, much more fair to the most critical truths. I stand with Israel and all the horrors the world heaps upon them. Any nation under siege and engaged in war is surely going to be involved in unfair and horrible practices for the sake of preservation and triumph.

The vast majority of Arabs left Israel in 1948 just before the Arab invasion on their own accord at the bequest of their Islamic clerics' overtures with the promise they can soon return after the seven despotic Arab armies destroyed the Jews.

It all started with Hertzl saying...

That was the "plan". Officially known as Plan D.

And this is the plan carried out...

The number of Palestinian refugees resulting from these hostilities were estimated to number 726,000 by the end of 1949 - half the indigenous population of Palestine.​

Charges that their flight had been incited by Arab leaders is refuted by a United Nations report noting that the refugees either fled from the war or were expelled: "As a result of the conflict in Palestine, almost the whole of the Arab population fled or was expelled from the area under Jewish occupation".​

According to the UN, over 700,000 indigenous Arabs were expelled by Jewish terrorist groups like Irgun.

And plan D came 50 years plus after Hertzl.
