Yup of course he original plan for Iraq was to cut and run. He has a a budget problem, how exactly is he gonna pay for health care and balance the Budget? And his plan for our energy is Corn supplied Ethanol which does not work as advertised.

My girlfriend has Crohn's disease. She has days when she is extraordinary pain. Unable to eat. Unable to sleep. She can't work a regular job. All her family is dead. She has no money. She is not eligible for disability. What happens to someone like her in our current system?

i am sorry for your girlfriend. i can't imagine the hardship she goes through. she is the 1 in a million that deserve healthcare. but aren't we all the 1 in a million who deserve to win the lottery? i know that sounds brutal, but i do not want my tax dollars(which i think i overpay) to goto people who don't work because they do not want too. why work when the government pays for me?

Speaking of universal healthcare it doesn't make much sense to me that the same people who complain about it being a handout don't seem mind, or aren't aware, that they are paying higher premiums for healthcare coverage and higher fees at hospitals for services, to offset the cost of treating patients that can't pay. The folks who can afford to pay the high cost of healthcare are paying for the cost to treat folks who can't pay anyway.

You are, of course, aware that when the Government gets involved all that happens is costs keep going up?

Having been in the military and seen our Government at work let me give ya a little lesson.

Any Agency the Government runs has a budget. Every one of those Agencies have to spend EVERY dime in that Budget every year no matter what or they will get said budget cut. Most Agencies want more money every year and fight to get it. There is ZERO incentive to save anything in the Government. Saving only occurs when the agency needs the money for something specific then they "save" from the budget to SPEND it on this new or needed item.

Any Agency formed will in short order begin justifying their existances for then and forever. No matter if it is needed or not. That is how Governments work.

Further there is job creep. In order to ensure survival agencies will create all kind of excuses for why they exist and ask for more money based on these NEW tasks they have created for themselves and demand more money for more people to DO these tasks.

Did you know that it only takes a few minutes to fill out the application and if it is denied you can hire an attorney specialized in the field that will get it approved or not take the case. The payment they receive comes out of back money owed from when they get it approved. No money changes hands up front.

And yes the average is that you will be turned down once or twice. However my claim was approved on the first submission. Not sure what my doctors wrote but from applying to getting it was a matter of months.

Further they got my VA disability raised to 70 percent and being paid at the 100 percent rate.

What you do is ensure you keep the claim active, once it finally gets approved they have to pay you for all the months it was active that they stalled on. Get a good doctor that knows your problems and can articulate them and you get approved first try.
