It depends. I LOVED the original Godfather. Now that was excellent. Set new horizons. The 2nd was good I suppose but it lacked Marlon. There are many good gangster movies, but most just lack true originality! If I think of a good gangster film, I tend to usually think back to a B&W with Cagney, or maybe Bogart. Now THERE was a movie.
