It is not as easy and not about who is victim anymore. It is about realism. Ukraine cannot win this war. The question is whether they lose the territories annexed by Russia or even more.

I agree that migration and asylum policy in Germany borders with insanity. Among other things. What can I say? I don't think it can be sorted out in foreseeable future. Large foreign population is a given thing already and you will have to cope with that.

They were absolutely desirable in the Cold War times (but even then it was not so obvious). France in the 1960s demanded all foreign troops to leave the country; there were widespread demonstrations in West Germany against 'arms race'.

Now? Who knows. Europe doesn't have elites who dare to defy the US.
