I'm tempted to say, 'stop whining Phoney'.
But I'm curious.
What claim did I make?
The first claim you made was that 'Pro Israelis are keen on genocide' in response to one of my posts.
I asked you where in any of my posts did you get that from. I got no answer.
Then you said 'Israel wipe out. This must be ANOTHER MEMRI false translation.
This implies you have come across a MEMRI false translation.
I asked you to show me which video you are talking about.
So far, all I'm getting from you are excuses .
But then Weezelbub, I'm used to this from the anti Zionist crowd![]()
I took your "where " question as I would someone who asks where their glasses are, when they are on their head. In the quote of you, right above my comment, is the answer.
If you are not aware of the quite famous mistranslation of Ahamadinnerjackets comment that Israel disappear from the pages of history, to read as "Wiped off the map" then you really should feel a little embarrassed.
I am sure you can still find many a US media site that refuses to stop using the more aggressive translation, but that is the US media for you.
Does this help?![]()
>>The firestorm started when Nazila Fathi, then the Tehran correspondent of The New York Times, reported a story almost six years ago that was headlined: “Wipe Israel ‘off the map’ Iranian says.” The article attributed newly elected Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s remarks to a report by the ISNA press agency.
Then, specialists such as Juan Cole of the University of Michigan and Arash Norouzi of the Mossadegh Project pointed out that the original statement in Persian did not say that Israel should be wiped from the map, but instead that it would collapse. ..........
Of course, an Israeli might conclude that such an outcome would be the destruction of the Jewish state in any case. <<
