Pineapple on Pizza Poll

My girlfriend and I used to order Hawaiian style pizza all the time, and it would come with a lei.

I would consider this "too much" pineapple........and pick some off.....

I like about two pieces of pineapple per slice of pizza. Thats just right for me.
I prefer more ham and onion, and heavy sauce.


Now if it's a DESSERT pizza, then I'd prefer it be packed with pineapple, and heavy on the cinnamon sugar.

My sister has to have everything she eats loaded with jalapenos, especially pizza!!!

I like SOME peppers, I dont like it covered in them.

Nuts on pizza? Now thats going too far..........of course, unless those nuts are attached to Hugh Jackman.

Funniest tidbit about the Hawaiian Pizza is it was created in Montreal, Canada!

I wouldn't order one, but I would definitely eat a slice of what is pictured.

That would be Cici's Pizza, would it? We used to call them "Feces Pizza", when I lived in Irving.

We called Little Ceasars, Stomach Seizures.

That's what I thought. Then I tried it. Damn good.

I love roasted cashews............but I like them salted and right out of the can.
Once they've been cooked again, they taste funky to me, and I don't like that taste.

IMO, pineapple is only appropriate on a pizza if you also put ham or even spam on it. In my neck of the woods it's called Hawaiian pizza. I don't know if it's a popular thing in Hawaii because I've only been to Hawaii once and that was only for a few days a long time ago. I've never actually lived there or anything.

Ham and pineapple is combination of savory, salty and sweet.

That said, I don't think I would use pineapple alone as a topping on my pizza.

Pineapple is good on a desert pizza... in the same way chocolate chips are good on a desert pizza. It's kind of like eating a big cookie or really flat cake.
