Great story of courage and calm under fire. A Philly cop was dispatched to a car theft in progress. He's apparently part of the few cops still responding to calls (he's 24...young and motivated God bless him). He interrupts the car theft in progress. The thieves flee as he gives chase.
One turns and shoots at him. The shooter was likely late for church and was starting his first day of college tomorrow. He hits the cop who was trying to crush his ambitions.
The cop applies his own tourniquet on the wound and keeps chasing. The two suspect thugs are caught. Heroic.
The media didn't release the suspects ID from what I've read so far. Obviously they're blonde haired Swiss legal immigrants.
