As of the 25th, he was booked and has not been released on bail. Considering the situation, I think this brat is most likely going to end up in prison. Any prosecutor concerned about their future career potential will go after this boy with extreme prejudice, and you can be sure the case will be watched very closely by the public. I don't see how it's possible he won't go to prison, given the number of witnesses and the fact that a police officer was severely mauled. I don't think it will matter if this is his first offense.

I agree there are bad cops, and I despise them as much as anyone, but you cant compare one scenario to another.
