Pete Rose and Dikembe Mutombo RIP

Sure.

Watch this.

Just more inuendos like Bonds with no hard evidence. I’m not going to watch all that. You can get better info. Come on.
Now, do some research on GBL and his use and when. It wasn’t when he was playing in the major leagues. GBL was a steroid alternative. Not a steroid. Pretty soon we will be taking Mays out of the HOF for his red juice which same stuff was used by most
Players.

Rose's righthand man during his playing days late in his career, when he played for the Phillies, was a steroid dealer. He lived with Rose. Rose played at an elite level well past most athletes at the age of 45 when he retired.

Most people can do the math.

That's laughable. Peter was a player manager at the end of his career. He wasn't some elite athlete. He could just flat out hit didn't swing for the fence.

Sachel Page was 60. Big deal. Again, hearsay. He admitted to BGL. Many players played past their prime with uppers, alcohol and other drugs of their days. And, “right hand man?” What does that mean? Someone making money off lies? Hearsay.

Poor Pete won't get to see his name in the HOF while he is still alive.

Does he even qualify anymore?

Maybe they will add him post-humous. As they should McGwire, Bonds and Clemens, though its possible none of them are ever forgiven.
I'd put Rose in, but none of the dopers.

The “dopers” still have to hit the ball. Willie McCovey hit a ball at Dodger Stadium 600 feet according to Vin Scully. It barely went foul. Steroids weren’t used in the 60’s when he did that. There’s no way to say Bonds wouldn’t have still hit all those home runs. And, he never admitted nor was it proved he used them.

Then, there are all the amphedamine users before steroids for decades to help players through injuries and get them ready for each game. Where do you draw the line?

Pete Rose lied to their face until the day he died. Why did they have any obligation to reward that? Not having him in it didn't mean he would never be in. If Rose goes in, then you have to put in Shoeless Joe Jackson, one of the greatest hitters to ever play nthe game.
Pete Rose was a winner. He was baseball. With all of the warts. We see today how the sports embrace gambling.

the thing that gave bonds away was he had his best years after age 35 when most players are slowing down.....

Watching video of his head first slides as a Philly you can definitely notice the muscular physique of someone who could be using performance enhancing drugs. Not saying he doesn't deserve to be in the HoF, he absolutely does.

What he might have been taking (never proven), or even if they are banned substances, is up for discussion, but much like Bonds, you can't help but notice the muscularity.

Found out about this last night. Very sad to hear as he was a favorite player of mine.
As a Phillies fan, this has to be my favorite highlight:

Professional Sports isn’t the freaking cub scouts.

If someone has dirt, tell the story, don’t censor them. It robs the history of the sports and insults your, mine, and everyone’s intelligence

Then, let’s put Jackson and Rose in. This is what happens when atheists take over everything and can’t forgive, ever.
