Because a Black man excluded from flying combat by the color of his skin or a woman excluded from flying combat aircraft because of her sex are wrongs that have been rightly corrected.

A man pretending to be a woman for attention is not a wrong that needs to be corrected.

It does nothing to enhance warfighting, which is a warrior’s job.

No they were an attempt at de-segregation, not DEI as we see it today.

Let's put the cards on the table. Blacks said they want to be in WW2. But FDR said hell no. It was his wife that gets credit for the Tuskegee Airmen. And blacks were still held back until WW2 was virtually over. And they only had 4 officers in the Army Aircorps at the time. FDR did not like blacks.

What I did say is that were skilled and effective pilots who met high standards (unlike many DEI hires in the past few years). Their performance helped push the integration of our armed forces shortly after WW2. Why do you want to paint them as victims instead of heroes who served our country?
