But it's not unappealing for those looking for careers in Nuclear power plants(high paying) aircraft control at airports(solid career), logistic supervision and engineering (always high paying) Satellite coordination and communications (more high paying), networked systems design and maintenance (high paying) and etc.

Lots of high quality jobs can be had after a few years in the military. And since college degrees are not the lock on a good job and career as they once were....having OJT in the military at careers that pay outside the military....not a bad idea for a lot of young people looking to have a lifestyle that centers around a good career.

And nothing is as satisfying to young people as blowing up some brand of goat lover in the deserts, oceans, or mountains that desperately needs blowing up to smithereens.

Those goat lovers in Yemen are getting their "Come to Jesus" moment as we speak. Lots of great young men and women are making that happen....which allows an old curmudgeon, like myself, have a peaceful retirement. And I appreciate the service of these people doing their jobs well keeping me and my friends safe from the harm the enemies would like to do to us.

We didn't pick the fight with Yemen....they inserted themselves into a fight of others that we were keeping an eye on...and as a result we are finishing their insertion...because they tried to kill Americans. There is nowhere in the world they can hide....because our GIs will find them and kill them....as they deserve.
