I don't give the police any validity either. Pete is a fighter, and Democrats certainly need that. If it comes down to him or MAGA, I'm voting for Buttigieg. But I really think that if Harris runs, she will be very difficult to beat. We talk about Muslim countries, but a couple of them have had female Presidents. We've had men presidents for 250 years; maybe a change is due.

Taking it in the caboose is Buttigieg's only "qualification" for office. I agree it probably isn't enough,since basically he's just a honky from the midwest.

A woman of color, like Cortez, Crockett or Pocahontas, would check off more boxes.But I think if they could find someone who is ALSO LGBTQ+, that would be a shoo-in for the nomination.
