In a dependant and enslaved country.
There us is a concerted effort by top Progressive leaders in New York to dehumanize and assault Libertarians and Constitutionalists. Notice that they aren't targeting the typical RHINO/Karl Rove Repugnatcan establishment.

Here are three quotes within the same week by Progressive Overseers in New York:

Cuomo:
"Who are they? Are they these extreme conservatives who are right-to-life, pro-assault-weapon, anti-gay? Is that who they are? Because if that’s who they are and they’re the extreme conservatives, they have no place in the state of New York, because that’s not who New Yorkers are."

De Blasio on Cuomo's radio address:
""I think he was absolutely right to say what he said … I agree with Gov. Cuomo's remarks."

"I interpret his remarks to say that an extremist attitude that continues the reality of violence in our communities or an extremist attitude that denies the rights of women does not represent the views of the people of New York State," he noted.

Schumer:
“The Tea Party rank-and-file know it’s a different America,” said Schumer. “It looks different; it prays different; it works different. This is unsettling and angering to some.”

He also compared the Tea Party to the Prohibition movement, and argued that its policies were “the route of the Know-Nothings, Prohibitionists, Father Coughlins, and the Huey Longs, towards anger, negativity and even hatred.”

“It is clear that we will not pass anything legislatively as long as the House of Representatives is in Republican control, but there are many things that can be done administratively by the IRS and other government agencies—we must redouble those efforts immediately,” Schumer said.

“One of the great advantages the Tea Party has is the huge holes in our campaign finance laws created [by] the ill advised decision [Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission],” Schumer said. “Obviously the Tea Party elites gained extraordinary influence by being able to funnel millions of dollars into campaigns with ads that distort the truth and attack government.”

Therefore, Schumer wants the IRS to persecute the Tea Party. Why the IRS in particular, you may ask? Because the IRS is the only Government venue which denies you a right to TRIAL BY JURY, where your peers hold the ultimate power over you (the People themselves). In IRS courts, there is no Jury, it's TRIAL BY GOVERNMENT, and you are presumed GUILTY until you prove innocence.

This is a most disturbing trend. It's not like these three vicious remarks were made over an random/unconnected two or three year period. All of these remarks have came out simultaneously within the same week.

Both sides are hypocrites when it comes to campaign finance.

Both sides refuse to listen to the other side with regards to the abortion issue and say all sorts of fanatical things.

Gun control is a hard issue because when kids are getting murdered at school it is hard to believe we couldn't have done more to prevent it.

The constitution is the obstacle which keeps the left from socialism - they will vilify, and demonize those who support it.

Keeping people like you out of NY is one of my most fundamental wishes.

I'm trying to figure New Yorkers out, they are trying to entice businesses to move there by offering 10 years of no taxes. They target the state of Texas, then the governor tells New Yorkers they want conservatives to leave. Now, businesses are looking to relocate out of New York.

It is one messed up state, by going the conservative route with tax breaks and then telling them they aren't welcomed, is a big mixed message.
