People expect too much from presidents

Biden, Trump, Obama, Bush and so on. The president definitely shoulders responsibility, but they don't run things unilaterally. They cannot be everywhere and do everything at once. Their powers are quite limited.
The problem is, over the years the Executive Branch has slowly taken over everything, education, the environment with the EPA, etc. In fact, the massive bureaucracy has been called the Fourth Branch of government as Congress has ceded most of their powers to this army of unelected bureaucrats who make regulations that are just as good as laws passed by Congress itself.

But this is not how things were set up. This much power was never suppose to be given to one man overseeing one branch of government. But this is what collectivists want who have subverted Federalism over the years so that state and local governments have less and less power. So the powers that be want you to look to ONLY one man for all your needs. They want you to forget that there is the rest of the government as they give more and more power to the Executive branch. And the powers that be want to easily pass regulations via unelected bureaucrats to bypass democracy so they can "get things done".

Now voters pretty much only come out to vote for a President. In fact, that is probably the only person they know who gets elected. This is the result of the conditioning of the Progressive movement on the populace.
